The gist of it is: you can flash any S6 ROM as long as you flash an S6 Edge kernel afterwards.
Took me a good while to realise this. It's very quiet here in terms of development but the S6 forums are comparatively jumping. Couple of good ROMs in there with lots of crap removed --- don't really have that here.
XtreStoLite with SimplKernel is what I am using at the moment. Works perfectly but obviously lacking the Edge features --- don't miss them at all, though.
