Hello, I currently have a Verizon galaxy s5 with a Three UK SIM, I can access 3g and make calls without a problem BUT my problem is I cannot access 4g data or even send any text messages! I've searched high and low for solutions but have not found anything. :(
I have managed to troubleshoot the text messaging problem and have discovered that I cannot send anybody a text message when there is a 44 (UK) in front of their number. Which is very annoying as I would have to change people's numbers all the time.
I also have another question that I cannot find an answer for; would it be at all possible to install another firmware (different model number) so that it basically turns my phone into a English handset instead of an American one? or maybe install a custom firmware to remove the original origin of the phone?
I hope this makes sense to you guys as I must have read a zillion websites today, I think my head is about to explode!
