Hello to you all
this is my fist post here, all though I have been lurking around for a while now.
The problem I have at hand is that my brand new Galaxy S3 i9305N doesn't connect to 4g anymore, both 3g and HSPA+ are working just fine. When I pulled the phone out of package and did the first run, it connected to 4g just fine. Needles to say (as a former owner of i9300) I wanted to root my phone and install a Custom ROM, but process turned out to be not as simple as it was with i9300.
Loosing 4g connectivity occurred after trying to flash a modem from JellyBean ROM on my phone (this was half accident). Reason I did this was due to that CM11 would not recognize my SIM card. I figured that flashing stock ROM would restore my 4g connectivity (as it flashes modem to stock as well), but no luck. I have tried to flash a stock ROM via Odin for few times now (I9305NXXUFNI4_I9305NNEEFNI4_NEE, which is for Finland/Nordic [my area actual area]), but I haven't had any success getting my 4g connection back. Forcing phone to 4g just drops signal to GSM. My IMEI is ok, EFS seems to be fine (at least folder is crowded) and APN should be correctly set as well.
I have been searching for answers for few days now, but most of the cases where connection has been lost are related to loosing either IMEI/EFS or 3g/HSPA+ not working at all, so they have not turned out to be exactly that helpful for me (at least I think so, could be wrong as well).
Would flashing JellyBean ROM and then updating to KK in OS help to restore my 4G (or does KNOX allow flashing JB via Odin at all)? Or is there just something I'm missing out here (beacuse otherwise connectivity [3g/HSPA+] works just fine)? Could it be that I have somehow soft bricked 4G, all thought wouldn't that mean also no 3g/HSPA+ connectivity either?
I'm open to everything here, since I have tripped KNOX counter and warranty is (permanently?) voided. This is nothing too serious since 3g/HSPA+ are working just fine, but having 4g connection would be nice.
