You will need a file explorer with root access, i would recommend Root Explorer.
This should work on any device, just as long as you replace the right file, in some AOSP ROMS the file is called AndroidColorEmoji.ttf, all you have to do is replace it with the one attached.
I would create a ZIP file, but im new to this HTC system & some people don't have custom recovery's & just root.

1. Go to /system/fonts & rename hTC_ColorEmoji.ttf to hTC_ColorEmoji.backup 2. Download - https://mega.co.nz/#!j5JDAbQD!5ArLWV...TkJ6XhJ2yi7ob4 Which is hTC_ColorEmoji.ttf and put it into /system/fonts/ 3. Set /system/fonts/hTC_ColorEmoji.ttf to have permissions 644 (rw-r--r--) - THE SAME PERMISSIONS AS THE OLD ONE. 4. Reboot & enjoy! |
