[Q] How to fix the PIE only error topic


I have restored my xperia z2 many times hoping to fix this issue, I have extracted the ADB package to my desktop for easy access but I always get the PIE only error which means I can't boot into recovery mode. My xperia, on stock or custom ROM only has a blank recovery screen so I can't see or select anything.
